Robinson Stretches Lead at Ray Scott Championship

ATHENS, Ala. –  Angler Tracy Robinson of Gadsen, AL continues to lead the Ray Scott Championship with another impressive limit for Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN of 19.52 lbs.  Robinson holds an 8-pound lead after over second place with 39.45 lbs after two days of competition.

Todd Castledine of Nacogdoches, TX took over second place with a 12.49 lbs bag for two-day total of 31.37 lbs.

In third place, boater Matthew Robertson of Kuttawa, KY slides up the leaderboard from fourth with another five-fish limit totaling 13.26 lbs, bringing his 2-day total to 31.22 lbs. Robertson appears to have also broke an Old Hickory Lake record for its largest Kentucky Spotted Bass with a certified weight of 5.01 lbs. The previous lake record of 4.14 lbs has been in place since March 1983 and caught by H.T. Rippy. (Source U.S. Army Corps of Engineers)

Woods Takes Over First Co-Anglers 

For the Co-Angler side, Timothy Woods out of Midville, GA jumps up the ladder from 9th place to take over the leading position with a three-fish limit weighing in at 8.81 lbs. His 2-day total now sits at 16.08 lbs.

Marty Colley from Ashville, AL comes across the scales with a solid 7.97 lbs bag with three fish putting him in second place, settling in with a 2-day total weight of 14.37 lbs.

In third place is Alex Hester of Crossville, TN. Hester caught three fish today totaling 8.65 lbs, bringing his 2-day total up to 14.02 lbs.
